Suggested strategies for the proper use of doorway pages:
You should always use the basic search engine “Web funnel” approach when implementing doorway pages.
A “web funnel” requires the use of at least 2 domains, 1 will be a feeder site and the other will be your main site.
Each of these domain names should be hosted on it’s own web server. Do not use sub-domains for this strategy.
Once you’ve created, the basic doorway web pages, it is important to bad content relevant to your site and to any human readers. We suggest adding a minimum of three paragraphs of text to your page.
1) Place all of your newly created doorway pages on Feeder Web Site “A”. (All the links in your doorway pages should point to “feeder site A” and NOT your main web site)
2) Next create links from Feeder Web Site “A” that point to Web Site “B” (your main site)
This creates the basic funnel. It works like this, the search engine spiders will spider your feeder web site based on all of the four-way pages that it finds. The spider will then follow the links within those pages, which point to your main web site, which will in turn be spidered and indexed.
Remember not to add more than 25 to 50 doorway pages all week. adding more than this can cause Google to become suspicious and draw unwanted attention to your search engine optimization methods.
